As a member of the ICAP, I would like to ask you that how far the members of the institute have been successful to persuade their employers/clients to contribute towards the state revenue collection?
I know that as far as the professional standing, quality of education and strict controls of its exams, the ICAP is one the most impeccable institutes of Pakistan as acknowledged by IFAC.
As I earlier said that people pay taxes when they see that their taxes are properly utilised.
ICAP always contributed in motivating the corporate sector for paying taxes by creating awareness through seminars, workshops. Every year many suggestions are forwarded by ICAP and its members to the revenue authorities for facilitating the industry, which in turn may result better revenue collection.
