Re: unless u take a chance…
hmm…never had to take any hard decisions on my own…life’s just like tht here in saudia…parents normally take most decosions…except ofcourse…decidin which colour dress to buy…![]()
Re: unless u take a chance....
sure.
i had to get all my pencils sharpened. and
when that was done, i thought to myself, are all the points equally sharp or not, so i literally measured the pointed ness of the pencils to give myself relief from the decision of having to sharpen them again and again. :>
now ur turn
Re: unless u take a chance....
LOL. Was that a hard decision. Anyways, Here is 1 of mines. You better not laugh @ me Dush.
When I used to be in High School (freshie), I was rushing to get home cuz I had to go somewhere. I decided to take the alley instead of the road to get home quick. I was about a block away when I spotted a dog in the alley. I kept on going cuz I thought the owner of dog might be there (as u never see loose dogs here in US without owner). However, when I got there and when I was about 2 feet away from the dog, I discovered that the owner was not there and the dog was loose and that it was no-one in the alley except me and the dog. So now I was worried and didn't know what to do. I had to get home quickly too. So what I did is that as the dog was slowly approaching me (even though the dog was literally 2 feet away from me), I kept on stepping back until I saw someone's backyard. I slowly threw my bag over the fence (I was still facing the dog as I was throwing it) and stepped a little back. Then I quickly climed the fence and went to the other side. The dog came towards me but I was safe on the other side by then. I then went to the main road (which was about half a block away and went home. :)
PS - I know that stepping on someone's property without their permission is a crime here but I had no choice {laughs}

now lets see...... i guess my hardest decision usually involve long term, life committment type deals... like career choice, to be or not to be sorta stuff..... and i have no idea if it worked out in my favor, that remains to be seen still

Yes that dog needed a little petting and what I needed after that were some shots. [laughs]
PS - I was young at that time so back then, it was a hard decision for me.
Re: unless u take a chance....
he he, his easiest must've been, "um, should i go to school from then onwards, on not?, the dogs may not like my short cutting of private properties...well, hello, donc!!!
;>
i agree, career choice , involves a great deal of serious decision-making, but hopefully we will get the right kind of work place after having studied for so hard and for so long:>

Re: unless u take a chance....
hardest decision i ever had to make in my life involved quitting my work, quitting school that was 5 minutes walk away to go to a school 40 minutes DRIVE away.. and from giving up a support-role to a labour job of loading trucks :-)
Re: unless u take a chance…
The hardest decision was selling Microsoft to Bill Gates, because I just couldnt find enough time to concentrate on that business.
I was becomming more and more involved in my own tomato plantation business. And I must say, I never regretted it ![]()
Re: unless u take a chance....
