Hi,
I just got admission in the MSc Electronics Design program of the University of glasgow. I have also won CIIT scholarship that will cover my full tution fee, monthly allowance etc.
I want to know if we have guppies from Glasgow here? or may be some Glasgow University student or graduate. How is the university? and how are glasgow and scotland in general?

Cant say anything about the university. I was in a similar position about 18 months ago, offered a similar scholarship for another prestige university. With no money troubles (hopefully) make the most of it. You dont get many opportunities like this.
Scotland as a whole is a very beautiful country. Most of the people are very friendly, have their very own distinct culture from rest of the UK.
Glasgow I understand has a very large Pakistani presence. The city image I have is a mix of good and bad. It was once a industrial power house. Massive city at the time very rich with industry. You will see plenty of this legacy. Now it is has a reputation for violence and some tensions between the different communities. Usually a sign of social deprivation. Probably depends where the university is in comparison to the trouble hot spots. Scotland is a beautifiul country, I could quite easily spend a day driving to admire the countryside.
