hi i will be inshallah going to uni in sept 2003 to study llb law but i have a big problem facing me, i have recieved the conditional offer which states that i need two B’s to get a place on the course and i don’t think i will be able to get the required grades, what will happen will i miss out, i don’t want to i mean! all the years of my education will go down the drain!!!
i am very confused at the moment i don’t know what to do, i just want to this course and nothing else but>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I'm just finishing my LLB in Law and know from when I applied to universities a few years ago that most decent places are going to want at least a couple of B grades in your A'Levels.
If you've really got your heart set on doing an LLB then you need to hit the books to ensure you get the grades you need.
Alternatively if you are convinced you won't get the grades then you might want to look into the possibilities of doing another subject.
not every student is privileged enough as u say, what if i can't get b's why is it that uni's can't be lenient with weaker students like me, its pathetic................ the education system suxs big time

im at college too…will be going Uni in 2003…to do Accoutning and Finance…and i need 260 points which isnt much to ask but still i need to better in order to get selected for better firms in trainee course…
2 B’s look a lot…and are a lot…do hard work at college and at home and in ur free time in college…and u’ll get there…:k:
if a uni has given u a place and it depends on ur grades to make it permanent…then dont worry…they might consider a lil less too…u can always try cleaning course…if any space left…etc…i think ur teachers comments/reference count a lot too…:k:

If you really want to get that Uni place then the first thing to do is to stop wasting your precious limited time on Gupshup (or any other boards).
Not everyone gets an opportunity like the one you have, so pull your socks up, get your head down and study, study and study. Its not long to go, the time you invest now will pay dividends later... Inshallah!
