Universe is finite or infinite?

Re: Universe is finite or infinite?

Perhaps I should have rephrased that. The boundary isn’t really a boundary when it comes to Torus universe. I should have said something like it must be that the CMR seems like the boundary but it is not really a boundary. I am trying to answer your questions but I don’t know what in the world you are trying to do. Again, local universe being flat doesn’t have much to do with its shape. It’s flat as far as we know, we have theories about the unobservable universe. Since CMR seems evenly distributed, it’s likely that the rest of it is also flat but you can’t say if it’s finite or infinite.
