It's uncomfortable, for us, for them. I think some of them want to believe that Islam doesn't stand for all of this but seeing these guys as so devout doesn't help us.
Look, regardless of what's said out there, it'll be a long time before Muslims are considered safe and friendly ever again. I just think things will never be the same, a generation or so is simply not enough. Long after we are all gone, the battles for "hearts and minds" will still be waged. Our only hope is that a peaceful form of Islam emerges that authoritatively stamps out the damage these fanatics have done to us.
However the world is changing so rapidly that America may no longer be the prominent power on the planet in 50 years. The Chinese and Indians, though they have their problems, have a much better understanding of Islam. My hope is that the coming world order is more understanding of Islam. The Americans are ignorantly stupid. If they weren't, they'd realize that most Muslims are NOT like these terrorists. But despite our cries to the contrary, most Americans believe what they want.
It's sad what happened obviously but I'm glad it hasn't become a smashing hit. Plus, they already hate us, how much worse could it get?
Lots of things make me uncomfortable about it, though I have heard good reviews, and even a suggestion of a fairly "balanced" representation.
I'm not sure that I'm emotionally ready for it.
And although I know that pretty much every movie is a money-making venture and therefore all of them are in some ways exploiting our emotions and interests, this one almost seems to be too easy.
And certainly I'm concerned about the representation of the hijackers.
And I'm uncomfortable with the somewhat desperate need to romanticize the victims as heroes (perhaps to help the rest of us feel better?)
So yeah, I'm not ready for this right now. Maybe later, when there is more distance.

For those who have seen the movie (or heard about it) and felt it is depressing for muslims, get ready now that they have announced plans to make a movie about the kidnapping and murder of Daniel Pearl in Pakistan.
The massive propaganda drive to stereotype and portray muslims as violent, dirty and unreliable is in full swing. "Demonize the opponent" seems to be the preferred strategy. Obviously it doesn't help that the dude was actually kidnapped and his throat was slit by violent people in Karachi.
^If it's shot on location those who are 'working day and night' to boost a new film industry in Karachi will die out of joy for having a Hollywood film being shot in Pakistan...I hope the govt doesnt allow shooting on location. The film's definitely going to damage the already not so smooth image...
I already did.. was interesting till a point but then they went little bit offtrack.. The hijackers did not look Arabs at all. Plus, they kept chanting, "Alhamdulillah" and "Allah O Akbar" all along the movie and even just before crashing the plane.
bhai jaan that was probably a Delta flight.. there was one flight which was force landed and deplaned the same day due to some bomb threat or other security concerns... but nice try by some people to spread more rumors.
Flight 93 did crash however the causes are still unknown. The widely scattered debris indicates disintegration mid air, which could be due to an explosive, or a missile fired by some fighter to bring it down. There is nothing conclusive either in support or against these theories.
A lot can be gained from the black box but it took so long to come out that the contents are no longer trustworthy. Also the filmmakers (just like the 9/11 commission) relied totally on the cell phone calls to create the script. However a majority of telecom providers have confirmed that the chances of getting a cellular connection at those altitudes and the duration and clarity of not one but several calls was impossible. The Airphones however worked but those calls are sealed and were not considered by the producers or the 9/11 commission.
Hum Hain bhaijaan these guys are the main culprits.. running around mixing fact with fiction.. they'll discredit the true skeptics with their loony "Pod on Planes" or "No Plane at Pentagon" hogwash.. the government and media will only give airtime to these loony theories and then all they'll have to do is release a few frames of better resolution footage (one is just being released today showing a plane actually hit Pentagon, or at least that's the intention) and then lumping together all genunie criticism of official Government fairytales into the garbage bin of 'internet conspiracy theories'.
Stay away from these idiots. They do the biggest disservice to the real skeptics and critics of the Governments stupid explanations and coverups of 9/11.

i saw the video released today..it shows the front of a plane entering the frame for a split second..it doesnt answer any of the questions..
its no evidence that would put an end to the view expressed in the docu..
i mean we've got no answers/proofs/evidence for the number of questions raised..

Truth is, everyone forms their own opinions. I'd just look at this video and ask? hmm why would someone bother to go to these elaborate lengths to switch planes, and then arm them with 'pods'.. Why? when they are going to be rammed into buildings anyway? What purpose would that serve?
Wouldn't the real passengers of these airlines come forward and say.. Hey.. we're alive.. we weren't on that plane.. our flight landed safely? dontchathink?
The video released by the watchdog group to end the conspiracy therories around Fight 77 is nuthing new. Same video was used in Loose Change. All you see is a white blob (supposedly the Boeing 757) and then a huge explosion. And the “nose” of that white blob is a bit too narrow to be a Boeing 757 plane.
Still there are no pictures of wreckage of the plane, parts of the plane (like the engines).
Perhaps the gormint should relelease the tapes from the one hotel and also the gas station that caught the entire thing to clear up this debate for once and for all.
Sources said in 2002 that the FBI confiscated a hotel security camera video that showed the attack on the Pentagon. It’s not known if that tape is being released. —Link
there is no purpose in 'replacing' the airliner with a missile.. what would that achieve?
There are numerous eyewitnesses to the event. You can't miss a huge plane that's flying so low right above your head on a freeway :)
There are also pictures of the debris, including airplane seats, parts of the engine etc. Seriously, anyone still pushing the "No Plane at Pentagon" theory is trying to discredit the whole 9/11 truth movement.

where eye witnesses say there was a plane at pentagon;
they also say the planes that hit twin towers were not commercial arliners, were not american airlines, did not have windows etc etc etc lol
eyewitnesses also say they heard explosions..the buildings were brought down..
i mean the guy has explained everything with facts and evidence i.e. that the goverment's story is wrong!!
the engine shown in the picture does not match that of a regular plane that they say hit the pentagon..
as for the purpose, he has concluded the docu with the purpose war for defence industry..
however, i believe it was all done to gain access to afghanistan and then iraq i.e. war on terror..more against muslims/Islam..oil..includes benefit to their defence..
i really dont think its tat hard to grasp.. its not something new anyway..they done it before..
as for the eyewitnesses..where something is just impossible i.e. the damage caused by the plane at the pentagon or other questions raised..eyewitnesses can be created..
that could be towards the twin towers and said they were created but those eyewitnesses do not go against whatever proof they had..also a major news channel at the time reporting from ny said they weren't commercial airliners!!
this is probably an endless argument..the passengers..if such a big event can be organised..to change the whole world i.e. after 9/11..than how hard is it to create the passengers or atleast have that as backing the govt's story..
