when we look up the internet, its shockingly surprising how people come up with amazing ideas for their businesses.

The other day, I saw an online shop where the lady sells hooks and clasps and buttons and is making loads of money online .. It was surprising coz I wouldnt have thought these things could bring that much profit.. but she’s doing really really well ..

What about you? have you seen any unique business ideas around? please share ..

i was once [about 5 years ago] invited by one of my friend to join him in doing a seasonal business which is a great money maker.

he wanted us to make a tender bid and secure parking services during CNE [Canadian National Exhibition] over a three week period. he did his research, crunched some numbers and gave me a net profit of about $100,000 [my share to be $50,000]...wowwwwwwwwwww!!!

businesses move from event to event throughout the year making bundles of money. :)

i did NOT believe his overly optimistic profits and i wasn't interested to begin with so i declined. now, i KNOW that it's true! this is a good business but i've no expertise and no desire or else i would have quit my job and gone for it! :)

I won't call it unique but had started paper crafts like boxes and gift cards a few years back just for fun ... Didn't know it had any market but showed them on a shop in Islamabad and they gave it a trial run, it was quite a success until one of the shop keeper talked to me rudely and I told him to give the remaining cards back. :D
That was otherwise quite profitable.

KKF, that actually sounds really good .. but would the parking companies give contracts to individuals instead of already known companies?

Eastern, card business always has a market :cb: do you still do it ? perhaps doing it online might create alot of interest

rent a swag - where a skinny little souffinnian studmuffin rents out his clothes to pre-teens who grow out of clothes too quick. <3

Queer, for real? I thought teens are highly sensitive about their clothes .. who would want to rent out clothes at that age? does this business idea work well?

I still have those cards that I got back from the shop and now my siblings give them on occasions to their friends. Still have many though. Yeah it probably has some online market but filhaal ED and the software business is good enough for me to keep my schedule busy for 16 hours a day. :@:
