Finally it seems the various education reforms committees are able to focus and come up with actual plans to bring about a much much required change in the Pakistani education system.
Few days ago there was news that the Federal Board was planning to overhaul its exam patterns and techniques.

Yesterday there was announcement of a uniform examination system for all provinces and the upcoming federal budget has allocated Rs 5 billion for education reforms.

This is very good. This has to be implemented asap as strictly as possible.
and apart from a unified exam system i hope our universities are improved and get more exposure, and more are set up on int’l standards. India’s example is bright in this regard. Also, shouldnt a prgramme like the SATs be set up to ensure uniformity in university/college admissions too? This will ease the students as well as the respective universities.
