How about Daniyal **or **Danial. It's a British name and it's also a Muslim name. Muslims pronounce it as (Daniyaal) with a long "a" sound. BUT it would still be spelled the same in BOTH languages which is what you wanted.
Other suggestions for names that are spelled the same in both languages that I've found from a Muslim baby names website include:
1) Basil (this can be a Muslim name as well as a western/British name. It means brave according to the website. And in English, one would take it to refer to basil, the herb. I think it kinda sounds feminine/fruity for a boy).
2) Dean (Typically spelled "Din" or "Deen", this name means religion. But spelling it as "Dean", you'll make it applicable to British culture as well)
3) Faris (Means knight/horseman/rider. Similar to the Western name "Ferris Bueler")
4) Malik. (Spelled the same in Western culture commonly among the Black population who pronounces it as "Maleek.")
5) Omar. (Spelled the same in Western culture commonly among the Black population who pronounces it as "Omaar".)
^ Alicia is a nice name 4 a girl.. Other girl's names: Sophia, Maria, Natasha, Nadia, Sara, Jenna, Jasmine, Layla, Amber, Tara, Eva, Zara, Hannah. For a boy: Sam, Samuel. Not sure about other countries but in the UK the English version of Danial's spelled with an 'e' before 'l' :)
