Is this any good for postgraduate study?
I don't know, not really. What other schools are you considering?
international students should usually go for world-renowned schools where they could get the right value for the high fees and have a great learning experience. UNH may be a good school with a regional reputation and there are many of the same status. i dont know your program of study or research interests, provide a little detail about your plans for better answers/suggestions. as a general rule, look at schools with enough dollars to support your research with some grants and scholarships and good facilities such as labs, faculty etc. hth.
Hey,
My undergrad specialization is US Foreign Policy in the immediate post war period.
For a postgraduate study, I would like to look at the same topic, but with a later date. Perhaps under Eisenhower and Kennedy.
Specifically, I am studying Kennan's notion of containment.
Given the topic, a US school seems to be the logical choice...
perhaps you should look at some schools in the DC and surrounding area or schools with strong political science and history programs. consult http://www.usnews.com/usnews/edu/grad/rankings/rankindex_brief.php
Thanks for the list, you guys are a mjaor help.
Ideally, I will settle in the US in some sort of teaching/research capacity. Hence the right MA (as a prelude to research) is vital.
What schools are famous for there political science or IR departments?
And such a school in a medium town or rural setting, I'm not a city person. :)
