Re: Unfortunate Wedding Stories

That reminded me of another similar true story. An innocent girl of 19 years from Gujrat got married to this well off guy of some 32 years. Everything went very smooth and normal. And then on the wedding night she drank her husband's blood, turned into a bat and flew away. Crazy crazy world I tell ya.

Re: Unfortunate Wedding Stories

The second story is kinda fishy, what with visa issues and all. I'm sure a "young, fresh graduate" from Pakistan would have a pretty hard time getting a visa to the states just on the basis of a proposal. Don't know if it's easier for the U.K.

What … really

and all that time I was thinking it was ROoh Afza ke bottle :smack:

After all the misery women went through in the thread “unfortunate rishta stories”, it is only fair that now, woman take the lead in “unfortunate wedding stories”

Re: Unfortunate Wedding Stories

i dunno if i should share it online but this happened in our family. this girl quite pretty n very kind she got engaged to some doc. her parents n family didn't do much investigation. they were just happy he was doc and well off. the girl n guy didn't hav much contact during engagement. on her very first wedding night he did brutal and forced sex on her. i dunno the details but he did something for first few nights continually that she actually had a nervous breakdown. was hospitalized for a month or so. after that she went back to her parents and kept acting like a rape victim, would shout seeing anyone around her, run out of house, will faint on roads. it took her a long time to recover, she went for theraphy and she remarried later on but that was a very sad thing to hear n learn for us.

then there was another one. my cousin(very pretty) had nikkah with this guy she didn't really like much. he worked abroad n wasn't earning much than. she used to write him that she didn't like his looks n the fact he was poor. he was very much interested though. after one yr of nikkah the families got extremely bitter n my cousing got khulla. the guy was shattered. after few yrs he got remarried had kids and got several promotions. his life became perfect but he would still cry for my cousin. my cousin on other hand didn't get any rishtas coz of divorce. she finally married to this rich guy not good looking at all. after a yr of marriage he passed away and the inlaws kicked her n her daughter out. they got no share in property. after several yrs she got remarried to another well off guy but this time her daughter will not settle with step dad and they had fights everyday. i'm not sure how she's doing now but my family is full of these stories n always made me thought if i ever wanna get married or not.

oh man .. yeah i remember that .. .. I even read this news on BBC .. it was really unbelievable ..

the 1st one is very sad
