Unfortunate rishta stories.

Re: Unfortunated rishta stories.

I mean did he really think a house HIS PARENTS were building was going to impress me?

This one guy could not stop talking about his father. Thats all he did for months. His father is a pretty powerful man right now so I can imagine but back then he was just a lahore high court judge. I think in the few months I knew him, I probably knew more about his father and grandfather than I did about him. It was like …“dude! Do you want me to be interested in you or your father?”

^..PB u and ur funny stories..:D

No moral of the story is that some people are just evil. my mom has had em, actually alot of moms have had em, not the "oh my MIL is going on a trip with me" kind of crap but, like, real evil.. So moral of the story? Count ur blessings.. :D

So whats the deal with evil in laws? Why do people have such a hard time treating each other nicely... espcially in laws? I never understood that...

Re: Unfortunated rishta stories.

haha. yeah I went to pakistan and I was sick with the stomach flu, but my cousin's barat was the next day so I had to go to the darzi and pick up my suit. So I go there and some aunty starts staring at me and trying to make small talk about how her nephew lives in Texas and stuff. Then she leaves. She comes bakc 2 mins later and asks to speak to my aunt (I think she thought my mom was my sister or something and my aunt was the one that was my guardian or something). Apparently she wanted me to marry her nephew. My aunt informed her tha tI was 16, but she said that she dind't mind and that they were willing to wait. And she whipped out pictures of her nephew...awkward...He was like in his late 20s becuase he was already like well into his engineering career.

not all rishtas can be broken, even though desperately needed:

a lady i knew, is so beautiful, got engaged to a handsomeand highly educated guy . people used to say that they are made for eachother, due to their beauty.

once they married, girls brother, who are very rich, helped the guy to start his business and even gave him partnership in their business. after a while, he wasnt keen on business and started to ignore them.

later he came home with a girl, telling his father he is his brother's GF. father got angry at both of them, as he is married man, took the girl to her parents.

lady was happy with in laws, looking after sister in laws and FIL adored her.

he got so drunk and asked her brothers to leave on his brothers wedding.
once called her brothers and told them to take her hom, but father insisted and she stayed.
had three beautiful boys.

called his father one day and said something to him, that no one knows wat he said, father suffered heartattack and died.

guy was taken to hospital due to his behaviour, dignosed with some mental illnesses. still continuously in and out of hospital and girls brothers are paying for her and her husband's illness and expenses!

Re: Unfortunated rishta stories.

^ SAD. Lekin duniya main harr tarah ki sheh banaai hai Allah ne.

I have my own share of stories to tell...

I've been engaged like so many times, it's not even funny.

Back in 2001 I met this girl that I loved more than anything in this world. Wanted to marry her. The thing lasted a year. HEr mom called it off cause I was jobless for a while after graduation. :)
I was so depressed I had to leave town and moved to LA.

Then, in 2005 met this other girl I liked. But she had her own agenda. So, we ended up being 'just friends' :) lol

Phir hum ne Umrah kiya, kyon ke 900 choohay pooray ho chuke thay.

Came back and met the girl who loved me so much that I could not say no. We were together for two years and then split. Then she told me uss ka rishta ho gayaa hai and I lost it. I went back to her. Uss ko manaaya, uss ki Ammi ko manaaya, uss ki bahen ko raazee kiya apni taraf. Bahen ne uss ke Abbu ko manaaya. Main ne bhaaiyyon se dosti ki... Khair, Mangni ho gayeeeeeeeeee... Then the drama starts, my Ammi wanted to get it finalyzed asap so we wanted a date and each time we went there, they said aaj nahin, kal, aaj nahin kal... for 6 months. Then in December 2007, Ammi got pissed and said bass ab nahin toh baat khataai main parh jaaegi... Wohi hua. Then they came back in Feb saying haan ab aap log date de dein and my Ammi just said ke bass ab rehne dain We are not interested.

Sab khatam ho gayaa. Now she is marred. :(

Main ab thak gayaa hun.

aaaaaaaaw falconeer..:(...ill pray for u..baas kabhi kabhi hamari kismat khraab hoti heh..inshallah things will get better for u in future..sometimes it looks like were stuck in a rut but things get better later on..

roshni:..sometimes life sucks..:(..that poor dear lady..

Re: Unfortunated rishta stories.

Main ne toh ab sab Ammi par chhorh diya hai... This LOVE SHOVE SUCKS.

Bhalaai iss main hi hai ke Ammi rishta dekh karr karein. That is the best for us.

Re: Unfortunated rishta stories.

sometimes these things happen and its for the best

Re: Unfortunated rishta stories.

My Dad was meant to get married to some next women(b4 he saw my mum walking by in the village with her group of freinds carrying water on her head and my dad on a gora :@:) but he ran away from the mullah on the actuall day of the Nikkah. He was pushed in to the wedding by his sisters (who brought him up) and was only 18 at the time.....

my dad he was engaged to like this really pretty girl for a while. but it broke off just before wedding was going to take place because they found out that she liked someone else. it was sad because abu liked her she was his pasand. so my dad got married to ami totally arranged. and that first lady she never even got to marryu that guy shhe liked because his family didn't like her bcs she was ghreeb or soemthing. so she got married to someone else who we heard treats her like **** is as poor as hell and beats her and stuff. i was like aah that poor lady. :(

Re: Unfortunated rishta stories.

My parents had an arranged marriage and still joke about how my dad saw my mom walking down a gali and decided to whistle at her. She got shy and ran away but in the process her dupatta flew away and landed on my dad's head. LOL!!!!! They're a funny pair. Nothing like that happened, they just joke about it.

A funny rishta story would be of these people who came to my house. The mom was the funniest piece of work you can think of, lol. First of all, HER son had brought her to MY house but she kept saying things like "mere betay ke liye to aik se aik khubsoorat larkiyon ke rishte aate rehte hein, dekho kabhi. Itni gori, itni chitti, itni dubli, itni blah blah blah" and "Mera beta bohot saiynstive (sensitive) hai, isay ullurji (allergy) bohot jaldi hojati hai. Haan, vo larkiyon ke peeche bhaag bhaag ke mota hogaya hai to mein kehti hoon ke dorna shuru karo, thorda vazan kam karo apna" and "Mein javani mein itni pyari thi aur mera rang bilkul PINK tha, pata nahin kaise shaadi hogayi iske baap se, inka rang dekho zara. Bilkul tave ki tarha kaala". My parents and they were having dinner at the table and she dropped something so she picks it up saying "Aray manhoos, kambakhat girgaya"!!!! She was a train wreck!!! I was sitting on the stairs and laughing SO hard I almost fell off.

She was a sitcom!!! I wanted to follow her around with a camcorder and send it to America's Funniest Home Videos!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Unfortunated rishta stories.

lol ^

lol

so you are saying your mom in not good looking.
Tell that on her face.

Re: Unfortunated rishta stories.

my aunties went to check out the family that sent rishta for my mother. they discovered that the family doesnt mind drinking water in those jugs that accompany buckets in bathrooms of pakistan. it was a tough decision after that moment.

My mum and dads rishta story is so adorable. My mum and her family moved to England when she was like 16, but my dad still lived in Pakistan. And both families had a mutual friend who introduced them, so my grandad (mums dad) went over and met my dads family and said yes to the rishta. Neither of them had seen each other or spoke on the phone or anything. So my dads family sent a ring, so technically they were engaged. My mum then sent over a sponsership thing to call my dad over as her finance, and the fisrt time they met was at the airport when my dad arrived. My dad says the fist time he saw her 'he knew it was love' and gave her a massive hug, my mum apparently red as a plum said 'what was that for?' and my dad replied with the cheesiest line possible 'just had to make sure i wasnt dreaming'. My grandad says he was standing there giving them both evil looks going 'ahem ahem besharams' haha. They got married 2 moths later and mashalla they'll be celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary soon :)

lollzzz
