UNexamined life is NOT worth living

owning up to our mistakes is not an easy or weak thing, it is in fact, the hard and strong thing to do - as well as the better thing to do.

any thoughts?

Re: UNexamined life is NOT worth living

Being honest & taking responsibility of our own mistakes makes us stronger & keeps us away from repeating the same mistake over & over.
We always find excuses, we always find someone else's fault because its just easier for us.

I think, we can have successful relationships (of any kind) if we excel in this imp aspect of our lives.
yes, its hard but not impossible.

one thing to keep in mind i.e. find your mistakes, take responsibility, learn from it & move on...
"a man that hasn't made any mistakes, hasn't tried anything"

Re: UNexamined life is NOT worth living

i am a woman and an honest one, so i do not qualify your quote.
yet, i am admitting that i have made a mistake placing my trust.
and it happens to most every one, yes, but, the manner in which it happened to me, it happens rarely.

so i get to take the responsibility for us both - automatically as he is on and about.

very expectancy based value judgement laden charge there regarding success
when i give my utmost and i see that i am prized for who i am and then abruptly, i am removed. that is a mistake too, on someone's part, a costly mistake.
'move on' as a verb is actually sounding more like a superlative adjective for an honest soul - now after hearing it from so many people.
but i appreciate how few people realize giving a perspective without biting a curse word for me, in their tongues or saying it out loud.

I think, its the HARDEST thing to do. when you accpect your weakness, you go against your ego, which is almost impossible for some egomaniacs.
