Unevenness in pictures

Ok you know how no one’s perfect or completely proportional… well I’ve been paying real close attention to my face, my features, and more importantly how I look in pictures… and I’ve always known my left side to be my ‘better side’… I just cant believe how much of a stark difference there is between my left and right side. When I cover the left side of my face in pictures and look at the right side I look like a completely different person and I dont like it one bit. Sometthing I’ve noticed is that in alot of my pictures, especially where I line both the top and bottom of my eyes, you could see which eye is higher than the other and even the difference in size and shape, as miniscule as it may be. Recently I sent pics back home to my family and the first thing my dad called me up and said was “makeup karna seekh lo yah phir chhor do, tumhari kaani ankhain tasweeroon main ayee hain”. Is there anyway to even out the differences without ODING on the thickness of eyeliner in one eye and leaving the other with regular strokeS? Am I even making any sense right now? Does anyone know what Im talking about?

uh.... no. i didnt get much of what u said. but m sure of one thing, u need to just work on the make up and ull b fine cus its true sometimes the eyeliner can make ur eyes small or big so make sure both the eyes have the same line either thick or thin line..

there shudnt b, accordin to me, any difference between ur left or right side of face.

Re: Unevenness in pictures

Believe me, there is. Not just for me, but for everybody. Human beings are made assymetrical..the right side and left side can never be identical. And its not just facial unneveness, the body too. Arms, legs, breasts. Just take out one of your pictures... cover the right side of your face, and focus on what the left side looks like, and then vice versa. You'll understand what I mean then :)

Re: Unevenness in pictures

lol join the club, My right cheekbone is higher than the left, my nostrils are uneven and so are the lips. The right eyebrow is thinner than the left

But I like both sides :D

Riya, there are ways to do corrective makeup :) i'd help if I could see what u're trying to correct.

Re: Unevenness in pictures

Riya I know what you mean and sometime when I take pix with with a left side pose I would look completely different compared to my right side pose. Its so weird eh, even though in the mirror i would look completely normal.
Why dont you experiment with your eyeliner and then take pictures and keep trying until you get the right angle? That's what I usually do and it works because I can fix things up before going to an event and taking pictures there.

Re: Unevenness in pictures

i totally get what you mean. the right side of my jaw is totally crooked and it looks so weird when I smile. my dentist said he could fix it, but it would involve breaking my jaw and screwing it so it would be symetrical to the other side, but it was too expensive (like $6K). and i totally freaked out when thinking about having a foreign object (the screw) in my jaw and like what if it rusts??

Re: Unevenness in pictures

metals used in surgeries do not rust...such as titanium plates....used in maxillofacial surgeries...back surgeries..etc..
have you not heard of metal plates placed in brain, backs..etc..or metal rods used as replacements for hips and knee replacements...??
