In the silence of that dark hour
When streets announce each step
And each corner seems to glower
He walked to the land of dead
Only the pale guardian of night
Observed this young man’s ritual
Infact, he showerd his light
On this man who seemd special
Every night when the whole city
drowned in silence, went to sleep
he went to the dead, so silently
As if trying not to waken those asleep
But when he reached those houses
where the dead lay asleep
He broke that silence of his
As he tried to wake her from her sleep
Then he sat by her grave
carassed her name on the tombstone
pushing down grief’s tidal wave
he talked to her in a happy tone
Sometimes he leaned against the wood
And dozed beside her grave
but his mind echoed those childhood
Lullabies that now kept him awake
Every night , all through the night
He sat there and talked to her
Until the first crack of light
he stayed beside his buried mother
His restless nights ended the day
he was drained of life’s colour
still night’s guardian showered his ray
where the boy slept with his mother
