Love is unconditional. Or at least it should be.
Whether or not someone else's "love" appears in the scenario, does not signify that it should ever replace their love for you. If their love for you is pure and unconditional, then that will never occur.
And, most importantly, you are NOT the only one to experience these doubts. In one way or another, we all go through the same turmoil. So never think you're alone.

Hmm I think that's what I wanted to hear...but hat if that other person has more chances of proving thier love than you do...won't that change anything?

No, but Conchita, we make our own chances. You don't have to do anything fancy. Surely true love doesn't require any frills or fancy elements to express itself - just do it with your own words (as i suspect you have in the past). Continue to do that. The other person may have more better chances of proving their love, but that doesn't mean that your love is of ANY less value.
darnit i'm not explaining this well. Do you get my drift? If it is true love, then sometimes it is understood between the two. And chances will come and go - but if it is true love, then your love for each other will always remain. Regardless.

I understand what you mean yaar...but like I said before I wonder if my love is strong enough...today I didn't think my love made a difference in fact felt like I was an absolute failure...
Hard to describe this without describing the situation...but I can't it's just too personal, to complicated and I just feel like I can't breathe anymore

oh Connie.
If i was there right now, i'd give you a hug. Consider this a time of testing - this is nothing but a testing of your faith and your commitment. i was reading somewhere that God only tests those whom He deems worthy, those who have the potential for doing true acts of goodness. Consider this experience as a test of your love.
You should never use the words "absolute failure" to describe yourself. Never, Connie. It's simply not true. No one on earth is an "absolute failure" - not even those who have made horrendously unwise, unjust decisions and caused grief towards others. You would never have the love of so many people around you, if that were true. One of the worst things we can ever do, not just to ourselves but to those we love, is to doubt ourselves. Because then we allow all sorts of negative feelings to enter our minds and we end up believing them.
There u touched the chord thats the truth, thats the reality. The love never fades, however it tests u. Its brutal whether its your mother or anyone else.
You know when you really love someone the decisions you make becomes harder when you got them in mind…coz you’re really not sure if you can make them as happy as they expect you to
It's only natural to feel that whatever you do, might not be enough when it's regarding someone you care about. You'll always want to feel, give, experience the best you can for/from them. Tying to keep up pace with the busy hum-drum of life may cause things to take a back seat or whatever, but then so what; off-days come for everyone. And then they go.
It should'nt have such an impact that it starts eating away at your self-appreciation or self-worth. Such a situation can prove to be quite unhealthy in the long-term. A, B and C does matter and take all those medals, trophies etc. into stride. You earned them for a reason - you countered the situation to come out on top.
Easier said than done at times, but it's all about dealing with situations on the front foot - don't step back in such circumstances, they'll only push you further into a whirlpool.
It hapens lk, but you're stronger than that; and I'm sure you'll get over it soon enough. So chin up and march soldier. :-)
