Fwd’ing
Underneath the veil
Is one liberated lady
Brave and steady
Remaining unraveled
Her mind is unhampered.
With critics unwavered.
She is firm in the face
When everyone seems on her case
There’s no questioning her ways
Islamic principles are her base.
No matter what is her race
The veil is her elegant brace.
Underneath the veil
Her beauty is not for sale
No matter what the media wails.
From authors tall-tale
She leaves a wonder struck trail
A ghuraba’ on every scale.
Among friends of the same religion
Amiable is her mission
Among foes and critics
Artistic and cool is her tactics.
It’s not a case of drastic measure
Her aim is purely for Allah’s pleasure.
Underneath the veil
Is a lady of satisfaction
She dress up in any fashion
Wearing the cloak there is no inhibition.
To please Allah in her every action
The veil remains Islam’s exclusive sophistication.
Musafirah
As a muslimah, with veil or without veil each and everyone of us is Islam’s Ambassador, so let’s do justice to Islam and convey the correct Message which portrays the true Islamic Identity.
None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah.
“I put my trust in Allah, my Lord and your Lord! There is not a moving creature, but He has a grasp of its forelock. Verily, my Lord is on the straight path. (The truth)”
