There are a couple of Pakistani metal bands that I know of. One is Dusk, who are a strange mix of Death Metal, Jazz Fusion, and power metal. Dusk are extremely creative and the musicianship is excellent. They are well known to the death metal and black metal community worldwide as Pakistan’s answer to Opeth.
Another band from Karachi is called MessiahX. They’re a thrash metal type band, not as good as dusk, but not bad either.
Kaka, do a search in the Audio gallery, I have posted Dusk clips many, many months ago.

i just remember long long time ago i came across an underground paki metal website.... it had some good info on it. cant remember the name :(

Don't confuse rock with metal. Aaroh and Entity Paradigm are both rock bands. There are very, very few good metal bands in Pakistan.

Yeah, DOTR is a cool tune. You're right, the Dusk site seems to be down. I'm sure it'll come up soon.

Simple. Rock is not as heavy as Metal, not as intense, not as agressive in all areas, guitars, drums, and vocals. Lyrical content of rock music is also very different, and tends to have more in common with pop music, where as metal tends to deal more with darker themes. Bottom line, metal is heavier and darker than rock music which is very radio friendly and geared towards the masses.
