i know a few of us haven’t worn dupatta’s on head for engagements or valimas- this might be something different for the less conventional bride.
anyone have any other examples?

I quite liked this one for a valima, esp if you’re not gonna wear a duppatta over your head - not sure I’d be able to pull it off myself though cos I have a small face and small forehead:

I saw that done at a walima and it did not look good. Some things which look good in photoshoots etc do not translate well into real life :-/

My best friend wore a necklace in her hair for her Nikkah and it looked really pretty, very different.

not sure with heavy dupatta on the head this kind of jewelry would look nice
