Re: Unconditional love
I've seen that unconditonal love shatter in a few instances with some people I know. For those of us that do have that bond with our parents, it is something to cherish.

Re: Unconditional love
“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it .”
-Rumi
Unconditional Love is existent, and is experienced simply by opening to it and allowing it to express itself in the moment.
Electricity like love, flows unconditionally till one of us decides to restrict/impose conditions on it through a simple switch.
Re: Unconditional love
why not really. there are exceptions to a rule as someone already said. Nothing is in black and white really and I feel amused when people want it so. There have been instances where parents died for their children and there are when they put their children at stake to save themselves and so on. If anything, only Allah knows how and why it is so. We cannot really poke our nose into His business. Can we?
Re: Unconditional love
Unconditional love is a legend and a myth... like cinderalla, snowwhite and other fairytales... sad but true.
Re: Unconditional love
Unconditional love is that of "Rehmatul-lil-aalameen" for his Ummah. Even forgave people of Taif, Habshi for killing his uncle and Hinda for eating his body parts.
