as far as dirt goes, the moment I start calling him toilet whose-sayin like ppl refer to musharraf as busharraf habitually, you can accuse me of throwing dirt.
My observation that he was clearly biased in his reporting is my perspective. it is based in facts that he was conjuring up conspiracy theories during the operation, and that the type of approach that he is taking, akin to that of bill oreilly is a shock jock approach. That is not news though, majority of the news/opinion show hosts in Pakistan, among other places are just that, shock jocks.

Yaar I think that every journalist has a view point. They are not commentators, they are analysts. We should listen to Talat also. When we can make so much Ha Ha Hoo Hoo about two young girls in Burqa and analyze each and every word of their to death (e.g. your "Khoon ki Mehdi" comments), why cant we give serious thinking to what he is saying

What nonsense questions. Now he is asking of proofs againt the Lal masjid goons. Does he not know about the kidnappings, arson and murder of police personnel? Proof is provided in a court of law in a trial proceedings. These goons attacked the police, snached their guns and shot dead rangers. Then when they got surrounded, they refused to surrender to the law enforcement. If they had done that and government had killed them without taking them to the court one could ask these kind of questions.
The government does not need to provide any proof for the operation( from a legal POV). The people that surrendered will be produced in courts and prrof against them will be provided there.
He wants proof that government forces followed laws of war and Geneva convention. This was not a war between two states and their are no prisoners of wars. It was an operation against terrorists that had hid inside after attacking rangers.
All his questions about whether rules and regulations were followed in evidence gathering and arrests will be answered when the arrested criminals will be prosecuted.
Why should the tax payers money be spent to keep the relatives in posh hotels? These same people are still threatening violence and really need to be arrested and interrogaed.
He did slip up on the number of relatives looking for missing people saying they are 50/70 to max of 100/150.

Now its common news that many of the local residents approached Lal Masjid people and asked them to take action agaisnt this filth as it was corrupting their community like a cancer.

kidnapping for a day is not kidnapping? What about the proofs against her? Heresay does not qualify as proof. They also kidnapped police and Chinese. Attacked rangers and burnt and destroyed government buildings.

Governement has all the rights to recover public land that is encroched illegally. Building illegal mosques can not be a licence for illegal land encroachment.
If their teachers and students were arrested, it does not give them right to kidnap anyone. The police can arrest people, people can not kidnap police for doing their job.
If the government doesn't have proof, I am sure the people that surrendered to the law will be free to go.

I saw the first 3 minutes of the first clip. This Talat Hussain is a self-aggran dizing BS artist who's associating supposed civilian "unrest" with lack of clarity and information from the government. Some of the questions he posed have no relevance to the events of Isloo or even larger questions of Pakistan's security. He is infact playing a very dangerous game of disinforming his audience to polish his own brand.
For example, he wants to know the whereabouts of the "foreigners" who were caught fighting in Isloo. Well, a patriotic pakistani would hope that those "foreigner" miscreants are either dead or are being interrogated for information. No govt. in their right mind would hand over caught miscreants to Talat Hussain for his interview. And similarly, no patriotic Pakistani would undermine the govt. efforts against miscreants, both domestic and foreign, who want to destabilize Pakistan.
He is a closet mullahtic loony sypathizer and a poseur.
