On the same day Hamas terrorists launched at least 80 rockets into Israel at civilian targets, the UN Human Rights Commission voted in emergency session to launch an investigation into Israel’s “war crimes.” Prime Minister Netanyahu’s office released a statement calling the body “a kangaroo court” and the outcome a “foregone conclusion.”
If you ever need an illustration of the hypocrisy of the world toward Israel, this is it. Instead of focusing on Hamas, which has fired more than two thousand rockets into the Jewish state since it launched this violent campaign, the UN body is looking at Israel, which goes to extraordinary lengths to minimize civilian casualties. Israel and the Jewish people need our help right now.
We are being overwhelmed with urgent requests for aid from Israel to help those who are hurting because of the fighting. We can’t say no—but we can’t say yes unless you say yes. This air-conditioned and heated facility has a fully equipped kitchen, television and Internet service—all provided at no cost to the precious people who come there for safety in dangerous times. I am so thankful for every beloved saint who has given sacrificially so that this great need could be met. July is the biggest challenge we face before the museum is complete. We do not have another bill this big before we open. If every partner will do all that they are able, I believe we will have the miracle we need. We are praying and believing God for $100,000 to come in this week. So far 540 loving friends have given $55,425. That means we still need $44,575.
July is a prophetic month for me. It was in July more than 30 years ago that I prophesied over Benjamin Netanyahu and anointed him with oil saying, “You will be prime minister twice.” I told the prophecy to Prime Minister Begin and asked him to give Benjamin a job—his first job in politics—and he did. Now we need a prophetic miracle in July so that the work on the Friends of Zion Heritage Center…and all of our other outreaches to bless the Jewish people…can continue.
