The nations that top the Index aren’t the happiest places in the world, but the nations that score well show that achieving, long, happy lives without over-stretching the planet’s resources is possible.
Apparently, Pakistan doesn’t do that badly on it… Many ‘developed’ countries cost the planet a lot!

I remember few years back Bangaldesh was adjudged happiest place.. I guess when you are utterly hopeless even then you might become happy.. I mean how worse can things get if you have endured the worst then only thign to look forwrad is uptrend.. Happiness anyway is state of mind and one doesn;t need maerialisc well being to feel happy
