They were involved for sure , They were working under command of Baitullah Mahsood that time , 90% of Taliban are from these seminaries . Actually Taliban means a student of a seminary/Madrissa
But in this case , Mush's request to US for a drone attack on Mahsood after this murder has serious concern .

Taliban were involved which includes seminaries like haqqani and if we take musharrafs statement on face value then ISI is also involved as they propped them up.
