Aa well as i know,Umrao Jaan adaa is considered first novel in Urdu Litrauture,written by Mirza hadi russwa. Umrao Jaan is a story about a girl whose life took the biggest turn, when she got abducted at a very young age and sold off to a "Kothawali", where she was given the name "Umrao Jaan". Umrao jaan is the main charachter of the novel who share her life story with author.Hadi wants to show darkest and ugliest part of the society where girls sails
