umrah

Guys I am going to perform umrah in 2 weeks, but I did not book my hotel yet .. I was wondering can I book my hotel upon arrival to Saudia ?

Do Saudi immigration officers fuss about not arranging accommodation in advance?

please share your experiences (especially if you are US citizen)

thanks

Re: umrah

You still have 2 weeks. You can book your hotel now.

I don't think they'll create a fuss but you will need to have a place to put your luggage at and then go for umrah as soon as you reach makkah iA.

Re: umrah

I would go ahead and book your hotel now. You have plenty of time. No sense in wasting your precious time there, you want to be free to concentrate on your ibaadat as soon as you arrive, iA!

Re: umrah

it depends who is on duty, arabs ka koi bharosa nhi sometimes they do make fuss n check for accommodation so better book hotel now

Re: umrah

if your stay is less than 24 hours and your final destination is Pakistan, the airline will tag your bags all the way to your final destination and you do NOT have to collect your luggage and have them re-checked-in.

Re: umrah

You have many time. You can book the hotel easily from here. Because it will make tough to you after reached Saudia. It is best that book your hotel now.
