Umrah

Salaam

I know that after Hajj a man has to shave his hair off, but in Umrah is this the case also?

Thanks

Re: Umrah

CUTTING OF HAIR: “On completion of Sa’y, men may shave their heads or shorten/clip their hair. Women should clip their hair one or two centimeters.”

If you are going for Umrah, no men usually dont cut their hair. Just went last summer iA going again in a few weeks. As you walk back to your hotel, there are men that usually are aware you have completed umrah and they just gave my dad a complete hair cut, because some say men need to cut hair from all over, others say you only need to cut a strand. They just took my dad with them to their barber shop close by they cut his hair and when he had his hair cut he was able to cut strands of my moms and my hair. He only took 10 mins or so, doesnt take long. The actual Umrah takes less than two hours, me and my parents were able to perform it in 1 1/2 hours.

I’m not an expert, but I hope I helped, duao’n mein yaad rakhi yeh gah if you go for Umrah…

JazakAllah
