Umrah with seven months old

I’m planning on going for umrah soon InshaAllah. Any tips/suggestions for taking a seven months old baby for umrah will be appreciated :slight_smile:

pushchairs are not allowed there so keep baby carrier with you

You cannot take pushchairs inside the mosques but you might need them while walking to the mosque from your hotel. Keep a bicycle lock or a chain and a small lock with you in that case so you can tie+lock it near the shoe-racks at entrance.

Do not aim for going to the mosques at every namaz or you will tire your kid out and she might get sick due to a disturbed routine. I went with my kids when they were 5&2 and I and my husband took turns for Fajr and one of us used to stay back in the room and we did the same if the kids were napping at asar.

And plz if possible book hotel near to masjid n if you are going to madina possible deapart from there instead of coming bck to makkah n then jaddah, long drive will make baby n yourself very tired
