The better option is to wear your ihram from the departure of the home, some people find this difficult for whatever reason. The important thing is that one must wear the ihram outside the boundary called the “meeqat”. There are masajid around the meeqat area where locals go when they wear ihram, some non-locals do the same or those travelling from Madinah do this. Again it is better to wear ihram from the home, but be careful and observe all the regulations when in ihram wherever it is worn.

from home its almost 23 hour flight journey and thats a bit too long…
I have decided to go to MAdinah first and then to Makkah so that sounds much better option.
Now the question is, what is the best way to get to Madinah from Jeddah airport?
