Can a person do Umrah while purchaing the tickets with miles earned from credit card rewards?
OR do we have to spend out of pocket money to perform Umrah?

should be OK.

You spent money using your CC, and got a tiny tiny percentage back in the name of rewards.

so it is your money. Use it. Be it on Umrah or other travels.

Use of credit card is not haram, paying interest is. Many people take care of the payment within a month. So points earned through credit card should be ok
