umrah- how much time in Makkah/Medina?

Also how much time would you spend in Makkah and how much in Medina with 10 days to spare - im leaning towards spending more time in Makkah.
Anybody recommend decent hotels that aren’t too expensive?

I would recommend to split it 50/50.

and that too split into makkah 03 days madina 5 days and then makkah 02 days. You will get one additional umrah and it is more effective spiritually when you come back again for Umrah.

^ you mean ihram from masjid Ayesha? I would say you should depart from madina air port instead of coming back to makkah n then going to jaddah again it will be hectic. if you want to perform more ummrah you can go to taif wahn se ehram band kr wapis a jai n do umraah, I would say focus more on faraz ibadat rather than nafli ibadat

Hotels that are right by the sides of holy mosques are really expensive. If you can afford little walking distance they will get cheaper. I agree with what bao suggested. Split it 50/50 come back to makkah for second umrah and alwidayi tawaf too. Choose to travel during nights so you can sleep during the travel (if you may have issues of getting tired) but i would recommend travel to madinah during the day and do not.sleep.on your way. Sigh.
