Asalam Alaikum,
It is necessary for a woman to do Umrah with her mehram (either father, husband, or son), but suppose if a woman cannot go with her father or her husband for whatever reasons, how old does her son have to be to be her mehram?
Can a woman even do umrah with her son or is it necessary for her husband, brother, father to be with her?
Please help me out.

Yes a woman can do Umrah with her son, But i am not sure about the age, i mean how old the son should be.. but please ask some relegious person or Mufti.. This is not the place to ask such legel islamic questions..becoz there are different people with different sects different relegions and different beliefs here..everyone would reply according to his/her beliefs/relegion/sect..

Son is a mehram too. You won't get even the visa without mehram.

What if My mom is in Pakistan and I am in USA. We need to apply for the Visa together then.

Every woman has to state in visa application who will be the mehram accompanying her.
