My friend will be going fir Umrah soon. She has read an online Umrah book, but she still has some questions. I’m going to list them here and I’d appreciate your help in answering them.
Does going from Safa to Marwah count as 1 trip and then from Marwah to Safa count as the 2nd trip? OR…does going from Safa to Marwah and then back to Safa count as one trip?
After completing one Umra, if the person wishes to start a 2nd Umra right afterwards OR if they choose to do the 2nd Umra the following day…do they have to perform wuzu/ghusl at Masjid Aisha? Also, does the ghusal have to be with only water or can soap be used?
While doing Tawaf or making trips from Safa to Marwah…if any if the 5 obligayory prayers take place…can you stop the tawaf/trips to go pray salah? If so, do you resume from where you left or start all over? Or sjoukd complete the tawaf and trips and then pray farz salah?
If during the tawaf or Safa/Marwah…one needs to go to the bathroom…would they do wuzu again and continue from where they left off or would they have to start over?

1) Does going from Safa to Marwah count as 1 trip and then from Marwah to Safa count as the 2nd trip? OR....does going from Safa to Marwah and then back to Safa count as one trip?
**
Safa to Marwah is counted as the first trip and marwah to safa is the second one. so 7 trips would start at safa and end at marwah

2) After completing one Umra, if the person wishes to start a 2nd Umra right afterwards OR if they choose to do the 2nd Umra the following day......do they have to perform wuzu/ghusl at Masjid Aisha? Also, does the ghusal have to be with only water or can soap be used?
It is afzal/better to do a ghusl, not necessarily at Masjid Aisha. You can do the ghusl and wear your ehraam in your hotel room and then go to Masjid Tan'eem/Aisha for oraying 2 rakaa'h of niyah. You can use perfumed soap before the ehraam niyah. For perfumed soap use, there are different opininons. If the soap leaves a fragrance on your skin after the wash, you cannot use that soap. If it doesnt leave a fragrance, you can use it...better to use an unperfumed one.
3) While doing Tawaf or making trips from Safa to Marwah.......if any if the 5 obligayory prayers take place......can you stop the tawaf/trips to go pray salah? If so, do you resume from where you left or start all over? Or sjoukd complete the tawaf and trips and then pray farz salah?
There will be small groups at different spots in the area of Saee to perform the congregational prayers.,just join them and continue the saee from where you left it.
4) If during the tawaf or Safa/Marwah.....one needs to go to the bathroom.....would they do wuzu again and continue from where they left off or would they have to start over?
*Wudu is a requirement for tawaf (and not for saee if it breaks during saee but better to be in wudu during saee too).If it is before the 4th round, you have to restart from the first one..if after 4th, leave for wudu (doNOT move while your back is towards kaabah-you walk side-ways with your left shoulder towards kaabah..this is a common mintake that many people do and this makes the tawaf makrooh..please tell her to read about it) and continue from where she left. if it was from mid of 5th round, restart from beginning of 5th after wudu and so on.

Jazak Allah.
I hope this answers all your queries. Please check your PM :)
As proto explained so nicely, ehraam is not only the clothes that you wear but also the niyat. You can do ghusl at your hotel room (with or without scented soap), change into ehraam clothes, and then go to masjid e aisha and then do niyat. Now you are in the state of ehraam, so can't put any fragrance or kill an animal. If its not one of the forbidden hours, then do two rakaat and then come back to haram for tawaaf and sa'ee.
Please convey our congratulation to your friend on performing the Umrah. May Almighty Allah make it easy and accepted Umrah of your friend. Ameen. You already received the answers very nicely explained by prototype. However, I would like to answer your question No. 2.
Masjid Aisha was recommended to Hazrat Aisha under special circumstances. Prophet Mohammed (SAW) did his Ihraam from Al-Jirranah at one instance instead during his return from Al-Taif.
