I hope that by the grace of ALLAH (SWT) you are in the best of health. I wanted to ask for advice for those who have better knowledge and also from those who have been to Ummrah. It is my first time going, and I wanted to know helpful tips on performing Ummrah…
When women go to visit the holy majid of our beloved Prophet (SAW) do we also pray 40 prayers there?

40 times of prayers is only a recommendation and in no way a requirement. i believe the more time u spend there u will feel better and an uplift in ur spirituality. Madina is known for it's tranquil environment :) wish u all the best and may Allah accept ur 'umra...aameen :)

But once you made it all the way to Madina, why wont you stay for 40 namaaz.

^Lots of people have limited time to travel, and some prefer spending more time in Makkah.

most of the people travel under omra / hajj packages allows only specific numbers of days in each city that is makkah and madina. The better the package the higher the cost the lesser are the days. Many people who go for 40 days Hajj opt for a shared hotel room and these hotels are very very far away from haram shareef / masjid-e-nabwi. So it's really a matter of choice that you make. In my case both of the times we had to opt for a short duration package with hotels as near as possible because of my mom's medical condition.
