I would really appreciate some useful information and answer to my following questions.

1. Does a person really needs ummrah package offered through various travel agents? NO…you can go on your own…if you are a female then you need a maHram with you.

2. Can ummrah be performed without a guide/travel agents? YES, you can but with a guide [mo’allim] it can be easier.

3. Is it more economical to go with a travel agent? depends who you get your airfare from…i think you can get a cheaper fare online.

4. what are the minimum day required to perform ummrah?? you just have to perform certain rituals…it may take as few as a few hours.

5. How difficult it is to get ummrah visa for ramazan?? umra is NOT permitted during Ramadhan…you can NOT get a umra visa. it it’s closed a month before and a monthe after the ramadhan, i think!

Please share all the info you think someone would need while planning ummrah during ramazan inshallah.

unfortunately, i have not been able to perform umra or hajj so i’m unable to tell you more…sorry! Good Luck and may Allah accept your umra and make it easy for you…aameen
