I understand how medicine can be used to serve the ummah.How can pharmacy be used for the same purpose can it be used to people?
Or is it basically just a business that’s really all about whats in it for the provider?
really want to understand if pharmacy can be use to help the ummah in any way

But medicine can be given as a form of sadaqa
People do bring back medicines to Pakistan and give it free to the poor/needy/old

we regularly buy prescription medications for the poor and the needy in our town, we do it using the sadaqa fund and/or zakaat money that is put aside on an yearly basis. we provide even expensive medication to some seriously ill people as well.
