Has the issue been addressed?

If you make your blog(s) private, only those members whom you permit can view and/or comment on the blogs and other members cannot access, view or comment on your blogs.

Please keep off-topic chatter limited, especially in the feedback area where most people come to find specific information/answers.

Thats good. Am glad someone is keeping an eye on it. We don't want people to post stupid stuff and in turn cause problems for GS.

As brother SID said. Access is restricted to some team members. Appropriate action can/does get taken when blog entries are reported in the same fashion as when you report a post on the discussion-side.
