He is been near the 140 kph mark for a while now (since the West Indians toured last year). I guess gaining muscle mass does help gain a bit more pace. He is still not express though, but he has developed a fine yorker and 140 kph is quite enough for it.

hes a good bowler, regardless of pace. i say that even though i have a slight prejudice against bowlers who bowl in the mid-30s. i mean any indian can bowl at that pace

Gul's a fine bowler. He should concentrate more on line & length rather than speed. After going wicketless against India, he bounced back and returned figures of 4-0-14-2 against SL last night.

I think you mean mid-80 mph. Even most spinners bowl at 45-60mph

awesome performance, add match winning to that as well...
i think because of BL in this group, all other matches become super important as i believe everyone will beat them. Then you have world champions on other end where everyone is expected to lose. So basically who won this match goes to next round, obviously not accounting for upsets.
