She is exclusively brastfeedng. can i give her water?

Re: umblical hernia

What are her signs & symptoms...?Sometimes if there are no serious issues, nothing is done and it goes away by the time the kid is a lil older.
It is not a serious condition and if it requires surgical correction,it is easily done via a small incision. But I do get it that you are worried about your baby, and your kid's 'surgery' is scary for any parent.Inshallah she will be fine.

In the US,it is recommended to starts solids at 6 months of age and kids her age do not need any water. They can quench thirst with milk (breast/formula).
