Some new, some old, some good, some bad.. but its always pleasant to see umar sharif especially when its a standup comedy.

You are perhaps talking about Late Moin Akhter. His style was different from Umar Sharif. As a stand-up and stage comedian, Umar Sharif has no match. He is a one man show, does everything himself and does it in an inimitable way. Moin was very good in this regard too (but no less vulgar, I had been to a couple of programs where he was present and heard some really nasty stuff from him) but his true forte was acting, be it in the dramas or while performing hundreds of different characters for Anwar Maqsood's programs. Overall he was a brilliant performer and a great human being as well.
