Seamer Umar Gul is in Pakistan A’s squad for the opening match of India’s tour in Lahore on Saturday 7 January.
The 21-year-old impressed in Pakistan’s victory over India in the second Test in 2004 but was then out for a year with a back problem.
Hasan Raza, who led Pakistan A to a win over England in November, will captain a line-up featuring seven Test players.
Opener Mohammad Wasim, 28, who played the last of his 18 Tests in 2000, has been rewarded for good domestic form.
India arrive on 5 January and are scheduled to play three Tests in Lahore, Faisalabad and Karachi.
Peshawar, Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi and Multan have been pencilled in for the five one-dayers.
But the final itinerary will only be announced later this week after an Indian security delegation completes its visit to Pakistan.

I dont know what to say, I am dumbfounded, Pakistan has so much talent to waste, now they bring back another guy from grave; M. Wasim, agreed talented player and wonderful slip fielder.
I just wonder what message is being sent to the youngster like Bazid and poor Rifaat-ullha who did well in domestic circuit and was on the brink to be called upon against england, and now he is left to squandered again.
Anyways I hope Bazid, M. Wasim, Gul, M. Amjad, Kamal and Arafat do well
P.S: IMO I dont see Raza getting back, though I hope he get back in 11 and perform.

I don't think they showed that match in USA. The whole series was covered by ARY everywhere except USA. Dish was providing coverage of the series here.
Are you talking about that high scoring ODI where taufeeq umar blasted 100 and they beat India? Since that was the only tour match India played than before the start of ODI series.

Yeah I am talking about that ODI. Also lately I have seen ARY showing PAK domestic matches as well so I am pretty sure they may show the side match of course not the actual Tests or ODI.
