LAHORE: Embroiled in yet another controversy, Pakistan cricketer Umar Akmal scuffled with a security guard at Qadafi Stadium Lahore over parking row, ARY News reported Monday.
Akmal arrived at the stadium in his car when a security guard reportedly barred him from [unregulated] parking. Akmal got raged and indulged in bickering with the guard. Some reports say that Akmal had arrived at the PCB headquarters in Lahore to give his wedding card to some cricket board officials.
However, spat with the guard angered Akmal and he left without meeting the officials at PCB headquarters.
Around a month ago, Umar Akmal was also embroiled in a controversy when he scuffled with a traffic seargeant where he tore the officer’s unform and misbehaved with him after traffic rules violation.
The case was dragged to the court where the cricketer was served summons twice. Later, unconditional apology from Akmal saved him from further legal actions and the case was disposed of.

Another incident shows how highly he thinks of himself and how hot-headed he is, someone like him can definitely not handle pressure situation... can definitely be ruled out for future captaincy prospects.
Don't know why** most of our** players are so jazbati. You look at Afridi, Umar Akmal and Shehzad etc.

Afridi and Sohail Tanvir making inappropriate comments about India. Even if deep down you have strong feelings, not everything is meant for public consumption! There is something called decency and commonsense.

aur phir log kehte hein education important nahin hai. MNAs, MPAs k liye education zaroori nahin (no wonder quite a few of these 'elected retards' regularly scuffle with each other on talk shows!!!), sportsmen k liye education zaroori nahi...tau phir kiss k liye zaroori hai??? ....just kidding.
Some of the players (80% of our cricketers come from humble backgrounds, they lack proper education)** do behave like upstarts..**
Education (aur yahan schooling and upbringing ki baat ho rahi hai, degree ki nahin!!!) is important if only not to make an ass of yourself in the media :D

Who is Umar Akmal? Or perhaps I should rephrase and ask - who does he think he is?
Likes of Afridi and Shoaib have typical Superstar Syndrome, but why these Akmal brothers have overly inflated ego and distorted view of self importance is beyond me.
It might prove to be useful if both brothers are rested for a change.

When people talk of “education” then “degree” is automatically assumed :D… It should be PCB who needs to provide “basic training” about their social behavior in public as well as media considering how some of our ‘experienced’ players in past/present behave on some occasions.
