Aqbal,
the poem I wrote on my last trip to Lahore, i was shocked to see how people slept until miday and kept awkae whole night long, mainly watching indian movies and filth on their tv screens.
they reminded of owls (uloos) and I compaired them to Lahoris and this is what the poem is all about.

yaar roman may likh doh,
i can't read urdu either :-(
i was in pak for the summer and had a qari sahab come everyday to teach me
but i still get stuck so much, its damn frustrating
