ISLAMABAD : Several Ulema fell unconscious after eating food during the ‘Ulema conference’ held here on Thursday, Aaj News reported.
Chairman Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Hyderi and others have been rushed to hospital after falling ill.
According to reports, a meeting of ulema was underway at the residence of Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Hayderi in parliament lodges when they served food. Mufti Muneeb, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Hyderi, Liaquat Baloch, Haji Hanif Tayyab and Mian Aslam fell ill soon after taking the meal and shifted to Poly Clinic.
Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman and Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Hyderi are shifted to ICU.
