I was speaking with my aunt yesterday and apparently it will be a bitter winter just like last year if not worse. I am looking forward to cold wintery days and nights, so we can be nice and cosey indoors with a hot cup of soup mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

**Probably YES, the weather pattern is changing...now, it snows MORE at the beginning and at the end of winter season while the traditionally the severest winter month[dead winter months...February] is usually mildest in the recent memory...at least where i live.

this year, fall is way earlier. i had to turn the heat ON both in my car and in the house on several days in September. Normally, in the last decade, we did NOT turn the heat ON in the house until the first week of October.

we've already got 40% fall colors. two nights ago, the mercury dipped to about 3 degrees Celsius...on Friday, the forecast says the High will be about 7 degrees Celsius while the low will be around ZERO. :(**

^We're in the middle of a mini heatwave here in London, feels sooo warm for late September/Oct (25C).. Am waiting waiting waiting for the snow to arrive..

i happen to see the infamous yearly publication *"Farmer's Almanac"* which says that this winter [2011-2012] will be the harshest...very snowy and very cold!!! :)**** i LOVE snow and cold.**** :)**

Possible snow ('wintery showers') in Scotland at the end of the week!! Am so excited!!!!!!! Can't be too long now....
