This is in continuation of one other thread i started relating to Visas a few days ago. Any how, Can some one tell me if they/any one they know was refused a family visit VISA to the uk but given a right to appeal? If yes, 28 days are given to appeal. After the appeal had been sent, how many more days did the agency/home office take to respond to the appeal or give visa?
Re: UK Visa Appeal durations
Hi! from what I've gathered it can take up to 6 months for an appeal!! This has just happened to my uncle who we sponsored to come over for my sisters wedding.
The reasons for the refusal were all rubbish - it was almost like they hadn't even read the application or looked at the supporting documents as everything they said was wrong!!
I guess they had already made up their minds before hand. It is becoming much more tough to get a vists visa to the UK.
Re: UK Visa Appeal durations
It can take upto 6 months or even more. First they will write to or the appliacant saying that they have lodged the appeal and after a few months they will send you a letter giving you the date.
