I think there is a valid point in giving aid to Pakistan. The UK is worried about the population size of the UK and one of the biggest sources of immigration legally and illegally is Pakistan. Giving aid to Pakistan and making her more prosperous will surely help kerb that flow, providing the aid goes to those who need it and not dissapear into the corrupt politicians pockets.
