i dont know if this a rite forum:rolleyes: to post this
i m in really difficult situation and need lil hepl from UK ppl and IRELAND
i have to move for some family reason and the only choices i got is to go to UK(london) or IRELAND and i donnuu a thing about and only know very few ppl in london and most of them prefer ireland on UK and i dont even know there is any desi in IRELAND. so i thought this will be better place to ask . give some advise( specially UK and IRELAND ppl) and if u can tell me a lil abt life their that will be very helpful..
I havent been to Ireland but seems like a nice place
London is too busy hence I wouldnt want to live there.
but maybe theres less desis in Ireland and more in London.
but overall, Birmingham is the best it has the most desis here…and many other people from other cultures…and we are in the CENTRE of England…and we are the best
London is all talk…its crap. ok if u dont believe me go check it out for urself. London is only nice for tourists…no1 else its only good for a day out.
not to live there. even student life is crap. accomadation is a big problem and too many chinese students and other foreigners there.
Born and raised in America.. but if I had to choose between the two I would choose UK… that’s only because in your case ur right.. there is a large population of desi ppl in UK compared to that of Ireland.. so I would prefer desi ppl.. to relate too and become friends with.. so I would pick UK. but good luck deciden… and let us know ur decision…
Ireland can be much more suitable to your needs you might get less amenities of life but education is much more focuced and less distracted.
Job wise you can get typical student seasonal or p/t jobs, and accomodtion is is reasonable too.
I suggest you should open a thread for your self in ‘Life’ or ‘C&A’ covering your questions. We have several ‘Guppies’ from Irland to walk you through it.
Ahmed Jee is from Irland. He can help a lot with more info I’m sure,.

At least don’t behave like a spoilt brat in new comers thread. Unless you deliberately
Want people to shame you each time you open your ‘Ugly’ mouth.

I have lived in both places. Prefer Ireland. But there are not as many desi’s.
Living costs will be cheaper in Ireland. The people are also more friendly in Ireland. London is okay for a holiday but not to live everything is non- stop there.
By the way which part of Ireland are you thinking of coming to? I will tell you any info that you need.
Before you actually make your decision I would advise that you , think about
the reason you want to move to Ireland a or Engand
Do you have the right visa (if necessary) for what you wish to do
Is it to work? What kind of jobs would you do? do you have formal training.
If so Which area has the best possiblity to get these jobs.
Would you like to study?
What subject and which university or college. What type of qualification will you receive at the end of it. Can you afford the fees.
It is also important to have a network of friends and or family to help with friendly advice, emotional support etc
