Light bearer, I find your comment offensive to HUMANS who choose to have segregated weddings. Just bcos someone does not share the same viewpoint as you on segregated weddings, it does NOT make them ANIMALs or ALIENS or whatever else you would class as inhuman.

IF someone decides to interpret Islamic teachings as encouraging of segregation and practices their belief, then who are you to class them as non-human?
In my experience it will NOT kill anyone to attend either a segregated or a NON-segregated wedding. Either way it's usually a pleasant experience.
Whether u attend mixed or segregated wedding, it's no concern of mine, but you sure seem so insecure that you make a principle of not attending segregated, why is that?
People can have a wide ranging reason for segregation, in most cases it's so that the Hijabi women can dress up, look their best and relax where there r no men present. Who are you to judge them and their requirements?

Attending the segregated wedding may not kill me physically but definately it will be death of all what I stand for. Its not a matter of being insecure, me attending the segragated wedding is similar to my approval of such bahaviours. Its as much offensive to me as if I would ask a moulvi saab 'come lets have a drink' - it will definately not kill him and it may very well be a good an cheerful experience however it is totally against what he stands for. I would not call him insecure - just different.
