I am just wondering the status of a masters degree acheived in the UK worth?
Also, has anyone done a degree in Pak as well as the UK what are the main differences? I don’t understand why people fly and invest lots of money to come to my country to study when they can do it in Islamabad or Karachi?

No you havent posted on the wrong forum section, but you have this question that you can get UK degree in Pakistan why go to UK!
then dont go.
degree is not always piece of paper it has more to it including knowledge you pick up during this whole process of time at university, distance learning is not always same compared to actual learning in the university and get involved in studies and research. plus your perspective change when you work in different and international environment and people around the world and also get a chance to get inspiration from the people who are best in the field.
if you just taking into superficial value of the degree as piece of paper then there is no difference.
in short your question look like why go to the teacher when you can buy the book and read at home!
